Far Far West (Play mobile) and Marineland (Sea World)

We bought season passes that includes Marineland, Far Far West, and Golfland. The Parks are only 15 minutes away and tne kids really enjoy the parks. We recently took the kids to Marineland and Far Far West. The kids really enjoyed both.

We did Far Far West First. Its a small park that included an playgrounds, different climbing areas, petting zoo, maze, play mobile room to play with playmobile, inflatable, pony ride, train ride, etc. Sarah went on a pony ride. Sean was a little unsure, so he just did the pony ride that was on a plastic horse. Sarah and Sean both enjoyed it.

After spending going to Far Far West, we went over to Marineland. We saw the Elephant Seal show, Dolphin show, polar bears, both playgrounds, penguin exhibit. The dolphin show was impressive. They had dolphins hula hooping on their nose with rings, playing ball with kids in the audiance, impressive flips, etc. Sean tried so hard to stay awake, but couldn't, since he was so worn out. We will have to go back another time so he can see it.

The penguin Exhbit had Emperior penguins that were just Awesome to see in person. You don't realize how big they are until you see them in person. Wow, they are tall!

After two parks we were tired, but had a great time at both!

Valentine Assembly

Sarah's school put on a Valentine assembly that included the Reception years, and forms 1, 2, & 3. Each class sang their own set of songs! Everyone did a great job!

Cimiez

Cimiez is formaly ancient Roman Capital. It's a great area to explore! Many different sites to see. For more information and history of Cimiez : http://www.squidoo.com/cimiez

What we saw:

The Old Monastery Garden -A Beatiful Nice France Garden -

The garden was beautiful with fantastic views of Nice. It will even better in the spring since not all the flowers were in bloom!

Notre Dame de Cimiez Church Monastere de Cimiez

The church was great to see also. The church is beautiful with it artwork and stain glass. It was dark church that felt very holy and sacred with lit candles.

Matisse Museum

The Matisse Museum was interesting and great to see also. When Matisse was going blind he did cut out artwork. Some of it was impressive with the cut out while others were very simple that we could do.

Nice Archeology Museum

The Archeology Museum was neat to see the Roman ruins. Its just incrediable to see in person!

Matisse Museum Cimez Gardens Nice France Gardens in Cimiez

This garden has big areas to run around, and very pretty olive trees and other neat old trees that are huge. A great area to have a picnic!

Cimiez is a great place to visit if you are interested in history and art!

Renoir Musuem

We went to the Renoir museum in Cagnes Sur Mer. It was neat to see where Renoir lived and painted. The neatest part was to be able to stand in the room where Renoir painted. Renoir is on of my favorite artists so to see where he lived and painted was fabulous.
