Rockville, Maryland

We spent part of the day in Rockville, Maryland for Grandad Phil's company picnic. The picnic was at Smokey Glen Farm. Sarah enjoyed playing on the playground and the moon bounce. Daddy got to bounce with her, so they had a lot of fun bouncing. Grandad Phil got to show off his grandkids, which he really enjoyed doing! We all had a great time!

Great Falls

The falls were absolutely beautiful! The water was really roaring since we have a had a lot of rain recently. You could hear the water before you even saw it! The weather was in the 70s, so perfect for a day to be at the park. We looked at the falls from two different look outs. Mark took Sarah on a path where you could climb on some rocks, which she really enjoyed. After looking at the falls, we walked back in the woods. We saw a couple of butterflies flutter right in front of us! Sarah helped Mark to save a Caterpillar from a spider web. Also we had seen where the channels had been for the large boats to go through. Grandad Phil joined us for our adventure at Great Falls. After we spent the morning at the falls, we had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory! We all had a great time!

Summer Adventures!

This summer we are going to spend one day out of the weekend seeing the sites in the area or going on day trips! I thought it would be fun to blog our adventures! Our first adventure will be this weekend at Great Falls in McLean, Virginia!
