We spent the weekend before Christmas at Great Wolf Lodge with Tutu Gail and Tutu Phil in Willaimsburg,VA. The Great Wolf Lodge is known for its water park, so we spent the weekend at the water park. Sarah loved going down all the slides! Sean wasn't sure about the water park since it was so loud and lots of people. Sean did enjoy going on the Lazy River with his Mom and Dad. In addition to the water park, we went to the kiddie club where Sarah made a holiday bracelet and Sean played with the toys they had in a toy area, and played at the arcade. Sarah also sat on Santa's lap which she enjoyed doing again. We all had a great time!

Santa Claus

Mark took Sarah to see Santa Claus this morning. When Santa walked up to sit down in his chair, Sarah ran up to him and gave him a big hug. When it was her turn she walked up to Santa and told Santa she wanted a "Tinkerbell girl". Santa laughed and told Sarah that she had her list together. Sarah is really excited about Santa Claus and Christmas this year!

Also there was a carousel that Sarah and I rode. This was the first Carousel that Sarah enjoyed. We all had a great time. If you have young kids, we would definitely recommend the museum. http://www.pleasetouchmuseum.org/

Halloween!
Sarah has been excited about and asking about when Halloween is since the middle of August. That's when all of the stores around us started putting out Halloween costumes. This year Sarah and I went to a Border's Halloween party, where she made a candy corn necklace, played games, decorated a trick or treat bag, listened to a Halloween story, watched them make a witches brew, participated in a costume contest and trick or treated around the store. We had a great time. Sarah, Sean and I went to a Halloween story time at the library where we listened to Halloween stories, sang songs, and then trick or treated around the library. Three of Sarah's classmates had joined us. We all had a fun time! On Halloween, Sarah went to school and had a Halloween parade and party! She came home from school excited about trick or treating. Sarah and Mark went trick or treating with the neighbors and had a great time!

Sean's 11 months!
Time has flown by so quick! Sean is 11 months and becoming more like a toddler! He has two top front teeth and the bottom teeth are starting to poke through. We are happy that Sean's teeth are white! Sean is crawling fast, balancing as he stands, can go from sitting to standing without holding on to anything, take a few steps, climbing stairs, and is cruising around the room while holding onto different toys/furniture. Its amazing how quickly they grow up! Enjoy the latest pictures!
