Germany:Nuremburg
We spent a day in Nuremburg at their Christmas Market. We all agreed that this market was a lot better than Munich since it had more vareity and had special Children's Market for children.
At the children's Chirstmas Market, there was a ferris wheel, two steam carosels, a steam train, puppet show, display of a country seen with a train.
It went around on a track, sand art, gingerbread cookie decorating, candle making, and heated playmobil house where they could play with playmobil. The kids really enjoyed this market.
In addition to the markets, we went on a horse drawn carriage around Nuremburg. The kids really enjoyed seeing the sights from inside a covered carriage. On the carriage ride there was a man playing the french horn.
Since we had eaten great German food all weekend, we decided to try a Mexican resturant. This resturant was excellent. I would say it was like a On the Border with similar food choices, but better and fresher ingrediants!
We ended the night by getting Starbucks coffee for the ride back to the hotel. :-)
