Genoa Italy

We spent the weekend in Genoa, Italy. We took the train there with very little time to switch trains in Ventimilgia, Italy. Both times we were able to make the 10min time limit to catch the next train. Our hotel location was great because we could walk everywhere, once we took a taxi from the train station to the hotel. There was an international market going on all weekend in Genoa's waterfront. We enjoyed German, Austrian, and Belgium food. Also, it was fun shopping at the market. Sarah thought we were in Germany since we had German food for dinner our first night.

On Saturday, we toured the Genoa Aquarium, which was really fun. We were at the aquarium by 9am, which we were glad we did, since the Aquarium can get insanely busy. We practically had the Aquarium to ourselves, which was nice and relaxing. There were manatees, dolphins, hummingbird garden, etc. In the hummingbird garden, you could get up close with the hummingbirds, which was really neat to experience. Sean's favorite was the octopus and Sarah's favorite part was the dolphins.

After lunch, we went on our dolphin/whale watch. We got to see dolphins play in our boat's waves, which was fun to see. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any whales. We all enjoyed the boat ride.

We went to an incredible Italian restaurant for dinner, where we had great pasta and seafood.
