Alexandria Boat Ride and Chart house

For my birthday, Tutu Gail and Tutu Phil took us all on a boat ride from the National Harbor in Oxon Hill, MD to Alexandria to eat at the Chart House for dinner. Before the boat ride, the kids played on the statue pictured above! The boat ride was 20 mins long, which was great for the kids! The dinner was wonderful and afterwards we ran around at a park near the river! Once we got back to the National Harbor, we took the kids for Ben and Jerry's ice cream! Sean loved all the cows! We all had a great time!

NJ Trip!

We spent Easter Weekend in NJ to help celebrate Aunt Karen's 60th Birthday! The weather was beautiful, so it was nice to spend time running around outside and going to the boardwalk at the beach! The kids had fun playing games, eating pizza, riding rides, and playing in the sand. Sarah was the only one in the bumber cars that could figure out how to drive the car. It was fun to see her circle all the boys who were stuck in the middle! We had a great time seeing everyone!

Dying Easter Eggs

Today we decided to let the kids dye easter eggs and decorate them! They turned out great! Sarah and Sean both enjoyed watching the eggs turn a different color and then once dried, decorating them with stickers/markers. Also they enjoyed using the wax crayon to make designs and then seeing the design come out on the egg once dyed. We all had a great time.
