Halloween
We did many Halloween activities including going to a pumpkin Patch near our house. We went with my MOPS (Mother of Preschoolers) group to the Lake Ridge Pumpkin Patch. There were many bouncers, slides, and a toilet bowel scooter ride. Sarah and Mark enjoyed the toilet bowel scooter ride. We all had a great time.
Sarah celebrated Halloween with her classmates at school. They did a Halloween Parade and party. Sarah had a great time.
For Halloween, we carved pumpkins and then went trick or treating with the neighborhood friends. Sarah was Minnie Mouse and Sean was Elmo. Sean wanted to be Abby Cadaby from Sesame Street, but daddy wouldn't let him. :-)

Great Falls!
When Grandam Kreutzberg came to visit, we took her to Great Falls in Mclean, VA. The leaves were just beginning to change, so it was beautiful. We took a picnic lunch, saw the falls, and took a walk in the woods. Sarah had fun collecting leaves! Both kids enjoyed running around the park. We all had a great time!

Spa Day!

Mark surprised me with another spa day last Friday! I had a hot stone massage and a deluxe spa pedicure done. I highly recommend both. The hot stone massage was just what I needed for my back and felt really good! The pedicure was great, it was the first time I had dipped my feet in hot wax, my feet felt so good afterwards! The Spa day was defiantly something I needed and enjoyed!

Ahoy Mates
On Sept 6, 2009,we went to Annapolis, Maryland for the Pirate Adventure. We had beautiful weather to be out on the water. They kids dressed up in pirate costumes and got tattoos painted on them. We learned how to become pirates before getting on the boat to look for the treasures. Sarah really go into helping to find the treasures and Sean enjoyed it as much as he could and then fell asleep, since he woke up too early that morning. We went to Pussers for a seafood lunch and then played on a great playground across the street from the restaurant. We all had a great time! This was our second year doing the pirate adventure and the kids really enjoyed it.
