Monaco

Mark took the day off, so we decided to travel to Monaco. We spent the morning at the Oceanographic museum. The museum was not large, but is the perfect size for kids. It keeps their attention and was impressive! To see sea creatures up close that we haven't seen up close before was great! http://www.oceano.mc/



After we saw the museum we had lunch on top of it at their restaurant! We all enjoyed it! The views were great from the restaurant.

After lunch, we took a train ride on the Azur tourist train to tour of Monaco. What a great way to see it with young kids who don't like to walk long distances! Sean slept and Sarah enjoyed seeing the sites, especially the Palace.

We had a great time in Monaco!

Antibes Stone Beach

After going to the village of EZE, we took the kids to their favorite stone beach in Antibes. They love to throw stones into the sea and to collect them. It was neat to be standing on the beach and seeing the French Alps covered in snow! What a sight! After going to the beach, we ended our evening in Cannes to have dinner. What a great day!

EZE

Went to the medieval village of EZE which is located near Monaco. Its a beautiful area and the views are Amazing!

The village is has doors that are only 4.5 feet tall. Walking through you wonder if "little people" will pop out of the doors. :-) Of course we never saw anyone come out. Also, we went to the Excotic Gardens. It was a cactus garden and it was different to see catus in the Mediterian. The view at the top of the garden was gorgeous, as you can see from the pictures!

In the town of Eze is a museum and shop called Galimard. The museum showed the history of perfume making and also how to make perfume! It was neat to see how perfume is made. We will go to Grasse sometime to see them actually making the perfume. http://www.galimard.com/html/intro.html
