Various pictures whiie Driving

We took random pictures while we drove. It is common to have homes up on the hillside. We even took a picture of a cow we saw for Sean.

Mougins School

Sarah will be attending Mougins School in Mougins. We found the school and was able to take pictures of it from the outside of it. We couldn't get a hold of anyone in the office, so we were not able to take a tour.

Village of Gourdon

We went to the village of Gourdon which is on top of a mountain. We had lunch in the village overlooking the coastline. It was beautiful. They had many shops and restaurants. It was great place to walk around and the views were incredible.

Village of Valbonne

The Village of Valbonne is a village that is close by to where we are going to live. Its about a 10 min walk from our house. There are shops, a library, doctor offices, pharmacy, restaurants, and specialty shops such as bakery, cheese/bread shop, and fruit and vegetable shop, and butcher. The smells from these shops are great! It was fun to walk around see the different shops.

We are staying at the Pullman Canne Mandelieu Royal Casino in Canne. Its very nice! The pictures above are the views from the room and hotel.

France

Mark and I are in France this week so that Mark can see his work, meet people at work and for us to familiarize ourselves with the area. Today because we slept in, we didn't have as much time to see the area as we would have liked before Mark went to work. Tomorrow we will set the alarm earlier. With being 6 hours ahead its harder to wake up earlier.

Today we went to Biot and saw where the entrance to our neighborhood is. Its gated, so we were not able to go past the gate. On Wednesday or Thursday we will meet with our property manager to see the outside of the house and neighborhood. She will also show us the area.

After seeing the entrance to the neighborhood, we went to the grocery store. It was fun to see what they had that was the same and what they had that was different. Similar items were cereals, yogurt, meets and produce. Although we will be going to Market for the produce, so we can get fresher produce. The differences were the eggs were not refrigerated, different types of baked bread, HUGE section of cheese, etc. We will have to go to the specialty shops and compare them to the grocery store. The grocery store looked the same as what our grocery store would look like except the people who check you out get to sit in comfortable looking computer chairs, so they don't have to stand for a long time.

We forgot to bring the cable in from the car to download pictures so we will post pictures tomorrow night which will be your afternoon.

Tomorrow we will go to the bank and spend more time in the areas where we will be moving tomorrow. The area is beautiful and moutainess!!

Cousins!

We had my cousin and her family visit for a few days! It was great to see them and meet their new little one. It was fun to see the kids playing together! We all had a great time!
