Snow Fun!

We have had a lot of fun playing in the 24 1/2 inches of snow. Unfortunately, Sean has had a cold through all this, so we have kept him inside. Sarah has had a lot of fun playing in the high mountains of snow. She also like how there is snow all the way around the playhouse, so when she is in the playhouse, its like her snow fort. The neighbors made a snow fort out of snow that she played in.

Speaking of snow! Another snow storm is on its way. 7 to 14 inches predicted starting Tuesday afternoon and continuing into Wednesday night before its is all done. We can't believe it!

The total accumulation here was 24 1/2 inches of snow. It was fun to see accumulate and it's really fun to play in! More pictures will be posted tomorrow of our snow fun!

February 6th Snow Storm

We have gotten 20 inches and its still coming down. There is 5 to 9 more inches predicted for today. Sarah and I had fun playing in it this morning. Sean has a bad cold so he is not going in the snow today. Enjoy the pictures!

Snowstorm

We have all enjoyed watching the snow storm today. It is has been very cold and Windy, so Sarah and I played out in it for a little while, before getting too cold. We enjoyed our hot chocolate. Sean doesn't enjoy the snow as much as Sarah, since he doesn't like getting all bundeled up. Maybe tomorrow he will want to go out in it. Enjoy the pictures!

Natural History Musuem

We took Sarah and Sean to the Natural History Museum. Sarah and Sean both enjoyed the Metro ride. The ride got a little long for Sean, but he did a great job! Next time we will remember a DVD player to keep him occupied. Both kids really enjoyed the museum. We spent three hours there and saw the entire museum. Sean's favorite part of the museum was the Ocean exhibit and Sarah's favorite part was seeing the butterfly garden. We all enjoyed the museum and look forward to going to other Smithsonian Museum's soon.

Sean!

Sean turned two in November! He is getting to be such a big boy! He loves to play with his sister and read. Also he LOVES to play playdough! While Sarah is in school, we go to story time at the library, go to a Gymboree class, and go to the rec center for toddler time. Sean is enjoying his Mommy time! I registered Sean for preschool. I can't beleive he will start preschool next year.

Ballerina in the Making!

Sarah requested to take ballet, so we signed her up for a pre-ballet class. She is going to start her ballet class on Saturday with her friend Katie. Last night, we bought Sarah her first pair of ballet shoes, leotard, and tights. Today Sarah put them on and posed for me. Sarah requested I put on Classical music and she danced. It brings back memories, since I took ballet for ten years! It will be fun to see her try something I did when I was young. Enjoy the pictures!
