Please Touch Museum

We spent this past week in PA and NJ. We started out the trip by going to the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. The kids had a great time. The highlight of the museum was the music room. It was a new part since the last time we had visited. There was piano on the floor like in the movie "Big". Sean had fun running up and down on it. The next day we took the kids to Sesame Place in Langhorn, PA. The kids really enjoyed it. We saw Elmo's World Live show. Sarah was picked in the audience to pretend she was a fish with Elmo. The kids both loved the show. Sarah went on a roller coaster for the first time and loved it. She went on the roller coaster twice. Also she went down a big water slide with Mark and Aunt Tracy which she also enjoyed. The highlight for Sean was meeting Elmo for the first time in person and playing on mats with big blocks under a pavilion. He also enjoyed the mini wave pool that they had at the park. After Sesame Place, we headed to the NJ shore for the week. Every other day we had rain and every other day we had sun. On the sunny days we spent it on the beach. Both kids loved playing in the sand and water. Sarah met a new friend named Gianna. On one of the rainy days we headed to Great Adventure Theme Park drive through Safari. Both kids enjoyed seeing the animals. On the second rainy day we headed to the Seaside Heights Boardwalk where we ate pizza and played games. Both kids enjoyed the boardwalk! We had a great time on our trip!

We have been making trips to see our families in NC since my dad is not doing well. In between visits with my dad we enjoyed the parks and pool. Enjoy the pictures!

Sean loves to run around at soccer, so here are some cute pictures I took in addition to Sarah's pictures! Enjoy!

Soccer Camp

Sarah started soccer camp this week. She has really enjoyed it. The first day after several games, she asked the coach when are we going to start playing the game. It was cute. Sarah is kicking the ball really well and can kick it far. She is doing a great job. Sarah says she wants to continue with soccer, so she will go back to soccer camp the end of August. Udvar Hazy Family Day

We went to the Smithsonian Udvar Hazy Museum for family day this past weekend! For family day, several planes that are private and military fly in for the event. It is neat to walk around and seem them. Even thought our visit was cut short due to the weather, we had a great time!

Burke Lake Park

This afternoon we went to Burke Lake Park with Tutu Phil and Tutu Gail. We all rode the train and Sarah rode the carousal. Sean was a little unsure of train ride, but I think he enjoyed it overall. It was a pretty ride through the woods. Sarah enjoyed riding the carousal two different times. We played on a couple of different playgrounds and had a picnic dinner. We all had a great time!

Painted Nails and Toes

I have been wanting to paint Sarah's nails and toe nails for a long time. She kept telling me No. Today she finally said yes. Of Course she wanted them both red! They look good!
